Terms of Use
Last updated: 10 September 2026
These terms explain the conditions for using the Joe's Excellent Events & Management website, application services and secure portals. By using these services, you agree to use them lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
1. About these terms
This website and its associated recruitment and portal services are operated by Joe's Excellent Events & Management. These terms apply to visitors, candidates and authorised users of our online services. Separate contractual terms may apply to employment, client services or other arrangements. Where a separate written agreement applies, that agreement governs the matters it covers.
2. Website information
We aim to keep information on this website accurate and current, but website content is provided for general information and service administration. We may correct, update, remove or change content when necessary. Nothing on the public website constitutes a guarantee that a vacancy, engagement, service or opportunity will remain available.
3. Recruitment and applications
Submitting an application, attending an interview, receiving recruitment communications or using the Candidate Portal does not by itself create an employment relationship or guarantee an offer of employment. Recruitment decisions remain subject to the applicable selection process, checks, documentation and any formal offer or contract.
You should provide information that is accurate and, where relevant, keep it up to date. You should not knowingly submit false, misleading, unlawful or malicious material.
4. Secure portals and account access
Candidate and administration portals are provided for authorised use. Login details, application references and other access information should be kept secure and must not be shared with an unauthorised person. You should log out when using a shared or public device.
You must not attempt to bypass access controls, obtain another person's information, interfere with the service, probe for vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests or use the website or portals for unlawful purposes.
5. Documents and electronic actions
Where our services allow you to view, download, acknowledge, accept or electronically sign a document, you are responsible for reviewing the relevant document before taking that action. An electronic action may be recorded with associated account, date, time and audit information. The legal effect of a particular contract or document depends on its contents and the circumstances in which it is entered into.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, layouts, graphics and other original material made available by Joe's Excellent Events & Management are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may view and use the website for its intended personal or business purpose. You must not reproduce, republish, sell or commercially exploit our protected material without permission, except where the law permits it.
Third-party names, software, content and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Availability and third-party services
We take reasonable steps to operate the website and secure services reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, internet failures or third-party service interruptions may temporarily affect access.
Our services may rely on or link to third-party technology or websites. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for content or services outside our control.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for loss caused by misuse of the website, unauthorised access resulting from a user's failure to protect their credentials, or events outside our reasonable control.
If you use the website as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Privacy and cookies
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies, browser storage and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy.
10. Suspension or restriction of access
We may restrict or suspend access to a secure service where reasonably necessary to protect users, personal information, system security or the integrity of our services, or where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Continued use after an update is subject to the current version of the terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory rights you may have to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom where the law permits.
